Here are the components of a rockin’ happy hour:
An awesome food and drink menu
The right timing
A great vibe
Entertainment
Smart marketing to bring in the crowds
One of the coolest ways that restaurants/bars are promoting their Sacramento Happy Hours is via one of these fun apps for your Android or iPhone.
Happy Hour Finder
Need a drink, and need it fast? Happy Hour Finder uses your phone's location data to find the Happy Hour deals closest to where you are right now. While it's certainly useful while you're at home, it can be particularly handy when you're on a business trip and need to unwind after a long day with clients. In addition to searching for deals based on your current location, you can input an address to get bar suggestions near where you're meeting a friend later. Happy Hours can be sorted by day (for planning future festivities), and shown either as a list or plotted on a map for easy viewing.
Drink Happy
The Drink Happy app is a useful source of stock and happy hours. Specify your location. This way, the app Drink Happy can show you what good offers you can find in your area. Also, by clicking on the selected bar or restaurant, you can view all the information about it. For example, description, photos, ratings, reviews and much more. Description and photos are added personally by the owners of the restaurant.
Scoutmob
For more than just for Happy Hour, Scoutmob will find deals not only on drinks, but dinner as well. The app is available in larger cities and offers discounts of up to 50 percent at some places. In addition to helping you find a bargain, Scoutmob has city info and trivia built in, so you'll have something to talk about at the bar while you're scarfing down those half-priced potato skins.
Untappd
Craft beer fan? Untapped is a mobile app focused on high-quality brews. While it won't help you find a deal on drinks, it will help you find the best place to sip on one. Sort bars by location or popularity, or go straight to the source and find breweries near you. The app really shines once you've reached the pub and are trying to decide what to drink. Use Untappd to search for locally made brews. Or just check what everyone else has been drinking. Tap into a particular beer to read more about it, and load its average rating amongst Untappd users. A social network of sorts for drinkers, Untappd lets you check-in the beers you drink, rate them, and share your faves with friends.
Cocktail Compass
Ready for a drink but still need to get a little work done? Cocktail Compass can help you find bars in select cities that have not only drink deals, but also Wi-Fi. Each bar's listing within the app shows whether it has a patio or Wi-Fi. Once you find a wireless drinking hole, you can send the bar's info to friends within the app. At the end of the night, you can also use Cocktail Compass to call a cab home.
Liquor Run Mobile
If you're trying to rally a larger group, then it might make sense to host Happy Hour at the office rather than trying to herd everyone down the street to a bar. Liquor Run Mobile will help you track down the closest liquor store, and has a ton of drink recipes built in to turn you into the ultimate bartender. Each store's listing provides hours, driving directions, and its phone number, so you can call ahead and make sure they have what you're looking for.
Appy Hour
Do you know where to find a happy watch? Use the Appy Hour app. Here you will find out about the most helpful offers. Save on your weekend by paying less for entertainment services. In this app, you will find a catalog of the best and biggest discounts. This catalog is constantly updated. Here you can find discounts on products and beverages. As well as information about interesting events in your city.
Bottles Tonight - Bottle Service, VIP, Tickets
The BottlesTonight – Bottle Service, VIP, Tickets app is an experience gathered by developers in attending interesting events. Here you will find the most actual offers from clubs and restaurants about happy hours. The “Happy Hour” tab will tell you about favorable offers for alcoholic beverages. Some establishments even offer free welcome-drink.
Beer drinkers enjoy more variety in their beer options today than at any point in history and Sacramento Breweries are providing plenty of options. The Beer Judge Certification Program recognizes over a hundred distinct styles, many of them mere umbrellas for a wide range of profiles, but increasingly American brewers are treating these style descriptions as quaint suggestions rather than lines they must color within. We recently enjoyed a 7.1% ABV “Imperial Gose” brewed with watermelon, black sesame seeds, black Hawaiian sea salt, Persian lime, and coriander. Go ahead and decide which classic style group that one should fit in. We’ll wait. While innovation and experimentation have yielded some phenomenal and hard-to-categorize beers, both professional and home brewers should know the rules they’re breaking before they break them. Let’s take a few moments to familiarize ourselves with the most common classic ale styles that have defined modern American craft brewing over the years...
What do you need to make your own sushi? I'm always up for a date to a sushi restaurant , but what if you're trying to eat more meals at home? How hard is it to make sushi? What do you need to get started? Have you ever come into a Japanese restaurant and found yourself stunt at a numerous options in their long lists of sushi? Do you want to make sushi at home or at special occasion? If you answer yes to any of the above questions and possibly any other, then this is the article for you. Beware though, you will be hitting a wall of text (and pictures) on various different types of sushi, but hopefully you will get a clearer pictures on all the sushi variety, their ingredients, terms/names and sidekicks. Most Sushi beginners tend to confuse between sushi and sashimi. Just remember that while sushi is the piece with seasoned rice and toppings, sashimi is just the “meat” itself, often raw. Zushi or sushi? You would come across this occasionally. They’re both correcte...
Are you looking for the best pancakes in Sacramento? We're the city that is home to the Pancake Circus for 58 years, but their pancakes are so-so. You'll find the Sacramento's best breakfast at restaurants like Bacon & Butter, where the chefs believe in hands-on artisan cooking. They make everything from scratch and shop at local farmers markets for the finest, freshest ingredients. The restaurant is recognized by several publications, and the Sacramento Bee says that the "menu is robust and the food is unlike anything else in town." The pancakes, perfectly cooked, made-from-scratch buttermilk pancakes in rotating flavors like blueberry ricotta and pumpkin bacon that just might be the best flapjacks in town are a customer favorite, and they're topped with maple syrup, diced fruit, and whipped butter.
